PHL Consulate joins Fil-Am community celebrating Giant’s World Series

9 November 2010 – The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco reported that the city was in euphoric spirits as the San Francisco Giants paraded downtown to celebrate their first World Series baseball championship since moving to the West Coast in 1958.
The Filipino-American community was especially proud of pitcher Tim Asis Lincecum, a fourth generation Filipino-American.
The Consulate joined the Filipino-American community and the rest of San Francisco and the Bay area in celebrating this historic win. END
