Philippines Pacific Ring of Fire and Tectonic Plates

Image via WikipediaThe pacific ring of fire, unfortunately, include  the Philippines. According to wikipedia, "the Pacific Ring of Fire (or sometimes just the Ring of Fire) is an area where large numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean".  "The southern portion is more complex with a number of smaller tectonic plates in collision with the Pacific plate from the Mariana Islands, the Philippines, Bougainville, Tonga, and New Zealand; this portion excludes Australia, since it lies in the center of its tectonic plate."

Also, there is what they call "Filipino plate". Ring of fire and tectonic plates are correlated because pacific ring of fire is a direct result of tectonic plates. As you can see on the pictures below, pacific ring of fire and tectonic plates, the Filipino plate, lies in the Philippines.
