Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert F. del Rosario is welcomed by Labor Attaché Alicia D. Santos and Welfare Officer Robert R. Chuan to the Filipino Workers Resource Center (FWRC), where Filipinos who seek Embassy assistance for various immigration and labor-related problems stay. Accompanying the Secretary is Ambassador Victoriano Lecaros.
Last March 31, Secretary Del Rosario received a briefing about the Embassy’s programs and services for Filipinos in Malaysia from Vice-Consul Shirlene Mananquil and Social Welfare Attachés Bernard Bonina and Gangco Punginaguina, from the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Secretary Del Rosario also spent time conversing with the Filipinos temporarily staying at the FWRC . The latter are awaiting resolution of their cases and eventual repatriation to the Philippines.
