1. Chevrolet Impala
The comfort of its spacious interior, visually pleasing design, practicality of its features, easy response handling, and safety ratings have made this the most popular modal since Chevy stopped making the Cavalier.
The Impala’s interior boasts 123.1 cubic feet of elbow room, has 18.6 cubic feet of cargo volume for storage, a 3.9L V6 engine under the hood, and a 4 speed automatic transmission.
National Highway Transportation Safety Authority (NHTSA) frontal crash tests have rated five stars to the Impala for its driver and passenger injury protection.
2. Chevrolet Cobalt
Available as a roomy four door sedan or a sporty two door coupe, this compact car is suitable for zipping around town, or trekking kids to after school activities.
The Cobalt is available in both a Sport Coupe and Sport Sedan and has a Higher performance model the Cobalt SS.
The Cobalt’s interior in the coupe has 83 cubic feet and the sedan 87.1. There are 13.9 cubic inches of cargo volume in both model types, as well as a 2.0L 4 cylinder DI engine, and 5 speed manual transmission.
NHTSA frontal crash tests have rated four stars to the Cobalt for its driver protection and five stars for passenger injury protection.
3. Chevrolet Malabu
With its reputation for easy road manners, practical features, quality components, and clean styling, the Malabu has attracted a large following in the last few years.
There are 97.7 cubic feet in the interior, and 15.4 cubic feet of cargo volume. The maneuverability and acceleration are prompted by the 3.5L V6 engine, and a 4 speed automatic transmission.

4. Chevrolet Corvette
Originally manufactured in the 50’s, the Corvette is going on its sixth generation body style, making it one of the oldest, most loved, and most recognizable faces in American cars.
The interior of the Chevy Corvette coupe and convertible models provide 22.4 and 11 cubic feet of cargo room, putting them at the top of the list of the most spacious sports car models. Both models sport 430 horsepower LS3 V 8 engines and six speed paddle shift manual or automatic transmissions.
The Corvette is equipped with front impact airbags for the driver and passenger seats to protect occupants in the case of a frontal collision.
5. Chevrolet Camaro
What list of popular Chevys could be complete without the Camaro? This muscle car has been remanufactured, and after considerable excitement has come out of its 7 year hiatus sporting a heritage inspired design.
The Chevy Camaro’s interior headroom (37.4/35.3 in), legroom (42.4 /29.9 in.), and shoulder room (56.9/42.5 in.), are more than enough to meet passenger comfort requirements. The LS and LT models have a 3.6L V 6 304/227 horsepower, and the SS has a 6.2L V 8 426/318 horsepower engine. Each model has the option of a six speed automatic or manual transmission.
