A total of P4.9 million in cash grants was released to 2,300 first-time recipients of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program in Dumangas, Iloilo City.
As of March 21, Pantawid Pamilya, the Philippine conditional cash transfer program, is being implemented in 1,398 cities and municipalities in 79 provinces in all 17 regions covering 3,029,374 registered poor households.
The cash grants are released through LandBank ATM Cash Cards, over-the-counter and off-site payment, G-Remit payment centers, Philpost, the First Consolidated Bank, selected Rural Banks, and Cooperative Financial Institutions.
Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino is a human development program of the national government that invests in the education and health of children 0 to 14 years old. It is implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development in partnership with other national government agencies in coordination with local government units.
