In August 2024, Executive Order 64 was signed, approving the salary standardization for civilian government personnel in the Philippines. The implementation is divided into four tranches from 2024 to 2027.
The First Tranche, effective January 1, 2024, is the initial step toward raising salaries across all Salary Grades (SG 1 to SG 33). This move aims to make public service compensation more competitive and in line with market standards.
