A March 30, 2011 press release by the Department of Social Welfare and Development
Social Welfare and Development Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman condoles with the family members of Ramon Credo, Sally Ordinario-Villanueva, and Elizabeth Batain—the three Filipinos executed in China today. She stated that DSWD social workers are providing counseling and family therapy to the family members.
DSWD social workers have been with the family members since yesterday to provide them counseling.
“We will also discuss with the family members the needed assistance, probably   through livelihood, and the children will be provided with immediate educational assistance,” Secretary Soliman added.
Likewise, “We appeal to the media to spare the children of the three Filipinos by not dragging them into the issue of their parents’ execution to prevent further trauma,” Secretary Soliman emphasized.
