Image via WikipediaA March 8, 2011 press release prepared by the Department of Foreign AffairsThe Philippine Embassy in Dili reported that it operationalized the Philippine electronic passport (ePassport) system and has begun issuing the new Philippine ePassport to applicants on March 4.
The first applicant who availed of the ePassport was Mr. Jessie Taguiam Arago.
Over the weekend, the Embassy was accommodating applicants to test the new passport system.
