Labor Day job fair: 51 companies with 5,084 Vacancies in Cagayan Valley

Up north in Cagayan Valley , some 5,084 job opportunities coming from 51 employers will be made available during the region’s main Labor Day Job and Livelihood Fair organized by the DOLE’s Region 2 Office in Cauayan, Isabela on May 1, 2011.
Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz bared this yesterday, citing an update report of DOLE Region 2 Director Grace Y. Ursua, who said that the fair is attracting enthusiastic response as Labor Day approaches.
Nationwide, Baldoz said there would be job and livelihood fairs in the country’s 16 regions under the joint supervision of their respective DOLE regional offices and the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE) in celebration of Labor Day nationwide on May 1 on the theme, “Matuwid na Daan Tungo sa Kaunlaran Para sa Lahat.”
The venue of the Labor Day Jobs and Livelihood Fair in Cagayan shall be the FL Dy Coliseum in Cauayan, Isabela.
Expecting a large crowd of graduates and other jobseekers, the DOLE-Region 2 chief advises job applicants to pre-register for the Job and Livelihood Fair. “Another pre-registration will be conducted at the City Hall of Cauayan , Isabela on April 30 following the successful pre-registration on April 12,” Ursua said.
The 39 employers and 12 licensed overseas recruitment agencies that will participate in the Job and Livelihood Fair are: Talavera Group of Companies, Ropali Group of Companies, AGT Machineries Corporation, Equity Machineries Corporation, Fico Bank, Golden Road Bank, Rural Bank of Cauayan, Rural Bank of Benito Soliven, Rural Bank of Reina Mercedes, Mart One Department Store, S & J Marketing, RAI Strong Builders, One Northeast Enterprises, K-Service Trade, Inc., Hotel Andrea, Family Choice Megamart, Centro Department Store, Jollibee Foods Corp., Chowking Foods Corp., Colorsteel, Savermore/Northstar Mall, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Banco de Oro (BDO), Metro Bank, Producer’s Bank, Bank of the Philippine Islands,  RCBC, Security Bank, Philippine National Bank (PNB), Honda Cars Cauayan, St. Ferdinand College, Our Lady of Pillars College, University of Perpetual Help Isabela, Isabela State University, University of La Salette, Cagayan Valley Information Technology College, Patria Sable Corpuz College, Isabela College of Arts and Technology.
