DOE Warns on fake Pantawid Pasada Coupons

A May 26, 2011 press release prepared by the Department of Energy
The Public Transport Assistance Program (PTAP), otherwise known as the Pantawid Pasada Program, given to PUJ operators and tricycle drivers is now on its third week.  While the cards for the PUJ operators are being distributed by the Department of Energy (DOE), the implementing agency for tricycle drivers and operators is the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).  The latter has, since then, implemented the same program for tricycles since last week.
The DOE clarifies that it has not issued any coupons for tricycle drivers and/or operators and that such coupons will not be honored.  The agency reminds all concerned individuals/parties to report any and all unscrupulous activities to the number/s below.
